Locally frequent. Tree to 4 m., poorly branched. Male infl. sessile, solitary in the axis of leaves, inconspicuous, comprising a single cone; bracts pale yellow, with the attenuate apex green. Flowers minute, densely covering the entire surface; filaments yellow, anthers and pollen white, the anthers with a forward-projected scripts appendage.

Locally frequent. Tree to 4 m., poorly branched. Female infl. Born on a short stout peduncle, solitary in the axis of leaves, somewhat inconspicuous, comprising a single cone; bracts pale yellow, with the attenuate apex green. Flowers minute, densely covering the entire surface, yellow; with a forward-projected rigid pale cream-coloured style with a brown stigmatic surface. Cone not enlarging much in the fruit, becoming brown and dry and mostly disintegrating on the plant.

Small tree 6 meters high. Leaves glaucous abaxially. Syncarp born just below leaves bases, numerous, covered by yellow bracts, 6 x 9 cm, 3-angled; stigma appressed on syncarp, long, up to 3-5 cm, soft and thin.

Tall Pandan, to 15 m, 15 cm in diam.; large cone of proproots at base, 2 m tall; leaves glaucous abaxially; syncarp born just below leaves bases, numerous, covered by yellow bracts, 6 x 9 cm, 3-angled; stigma appressed on syncarp, long, up to 3-5 cm, soft and thin.

Treelet 4 m high, with few ramification, prop roots present. Leaves 5 x 150-160 cm, glaucous below; minute prickels near sheath blackish. Infructescence born at the base of the leaves, erect on a short peduncle. Syncarp several, yellow (immature), 3-angled covered in the proximal part by greenish to yellow bracts; stigmas apressed, up to 2 cm in length, brown, spiniform.
